We just wrapped up our second Scam Search Party with the Baruch ISACA Student Group and we had an amazing turnout. The room was packed, the energy was great, and everyone came ready to investigate, laugh, and dive into the strange world of online scams.

What We Found

This time the group uncovered something big: a long-running pyramid scheme that was pretending to help pay for education and "godly" wealth. By the end, we had an investigation board covered in clues, connections, and a few more than a few laughs at some absurd claims.

Why We Loved It

Events like this show how fun cybersecurity can be when you are doing it together. You do not need to be a pro, just curious, willing to dig, and ready to enjoy the chaos of scam hunting with friends.
