That missed delivery text is probably not real
You have likely had one: a text about a missed parcel, asking for a small fee to redeliver, with a link.
The fee is not the point. The page it opens is built to collect your card details, and sometimes to get you to approve a much larger payment.
If you are expecting a parcel, open the app you ordered through, or type the courier's address in yourself. Do not tap the link, even if you are genuinely waiting on something — that is exactly why the message works.
Before you send it: Short enough to send as a text or put on a notice board without cutting anything.
Before you distribute this
- Use it: Newsletters, notice boards, and short member updates.
- Open every web address yourself before printing it.
