Current scam warnings your community can use

WatchOut provides timely, plain-language alerts about scams that are actively appearing.

Your organization can choose the warnings that matter to your community and share them through your own newsletters, programs, posters, workshops, websites, and safety packets.

How to use WatchOut

  1. Choose an alert relevant to your audience.
  2. Read the full alert and check its date.
  3. Share the canonical WatchOut page.
  4. Print or adapt the approved alert insert.
  5. Add your organization's own support and reporting information.
  6. Replace older alerts when the situation changes.

What WatchOut does

  • Explains what people may see
  • Shows recognizable warning signs
  • Gives practical next steps
  • Links to deeper ScamArchive information and relevant CSRF tools

What WatchOut does not do

WatchOut does not replace your organization's services, a bank, a legal adviser, emergency help, law enforcement, or a victim-support program.

Do not send CSRF private client, student, patron, employee, or beneficiary information as part of routine partnership use.
