Common questions
- Is it really free?
- Yes. No cost, no account, no login. We are a nonprofit and this is the work we exist to do.
- Do we need permission to hand these out?
- No. Print, copy, and hand them out freely. If you edit the wording, leave the safety advice as it is.
- Can we add our own name and phone number?
- Yes, and we would rather you did. Every page has a marked space for it. Fill it in before you print.
- Do we have to tell you anything about the people we serve?
- No. Never send us names, private messages, screenshots, or case notes. We do not want them.
- What if we need large print, or do not have a printer?
- Tell us. Large print is on the way. If printing is a problem, your newsletter or your own website works too.
- What if someone has already lost money?
- Their bank first, then your own support and reporting routes. We are not a crisis line, a bank, a lawyer, or the police. We do have a page for the first steps.
- Can someone ask CSRF for help?
- Yes. Email help@cybersecurityreach.org with any question about a scam or the right next step — the people who answer are the same ones who research these scams. Do not send passwords, codes, private messages, identity documents, or banking details. Phone support is on the way; this is not an emergency or case-management service.
